Teesside Archives
Teesside Archives is situated in Middlesbrough, very close to the railway station and the A66. It is a repository for documents from the Cleveland area. These include material from the local councils of Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough, and Redcar and Cleveland, as well as from many other organisations and businesses. For more information explore its website at: | |||||||||||||||||||||||
As well as storing documents, work is also done on their conservation and repair.
Anyone interested in the history of this area will find a great deal of useful information. The church registers, of course, are invaluable for Family Historians. A list of items deposited at the Archives is available on the A2A website, which can be reached from Links
