Many visitors to the Archives will have met David Parsons - or 'Young David' to distinguish him from David Tyrell the Chief Archivist.
David has given much of his time to helping in the Archives as well as being involved in Friends work such as the 'Blind' Project. He is also on the Friends Committee and compiles the newsletter. However, at the end of September, he will be going to Aberystwyth University to do a course on Archives Administration.
David will be greatly missed, but we wish him well in his studies. When they're completed, perhaps there might be a job for him at Teesside Archives........?
